October 29 really can't get here quick enough with new reports coming from LG's head of Mobile Product Planning at an Optimus Vu launch in New Delhi saying:
Google will unveil the LG Nexus on October 29 and the phone will be available in the Indian markets by the end of November.
We knew this, but having India availability just a month after the announcement is quite the change. This could mean Google are serious about bursting into more markets quicker than ever before, like the Samsung Galaxy S III did. It could also mean that LG want to tap that Indian market, where most other players aren't as strong.
For now, we'll reserve judgment, as this was from an executive at another event, and not for the Nexus 4 - but it does seem to make sense at the moment.
