For those of you based in the European Union, you should be glad to hear that Microsoft should be selling their Surface RT tablet later this year. The company has referenced the Surface on their Italian, French, German and UK websites.

Microsoft's Surface RT tablet is set to go on sale with the launch of Windows 8 on October 26, but we still don't have any pricing or other important information on the iPad competitor just yet. We're closer than we've ever been to a true MS tablet, but it still feels so far away.

There's no confirmation that Microsoft listing Surface tablets on some of their EU-based websites translates into the Surface RT tablet hitting those countries on launch - but MS should be coming out with more details on the new tablet soon, hopefully.
