We heard rumors of a 5-inch HTC smartphone early last month, but now there's more talk of the bigger phone hitting the Internet. A device was spotted on GLBenchmark, running Android 4.0.4 labeled 'HTC6435LVW'.

What could this be? It should hopefully turn into the 5-inch HTC smartphone, which still sports that sexy 1794x1080 resolution screen. Benchmark details were included, with the device sporting a 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 with the Adreno 320 GPU.

That CPU + GPU combination definitely looks like HTC are wanting to verse Samsung's Galaxy Note II, and with those types of specs, they should have no issue. It's great to see someone amping the screen resolution on a smartphone up, and this could be the phone that HTC needs to get out of the issues they're experiencing right now.
