Where was this when I was in Taiwan for Computex, eh? LG have just unveiled their Optimus L9 smartphone ahead of the IFA trade show in Berlin. LG's Optimus L9 sports a 4.7-inch high-def IPS display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear snapper, and 2,150mAh battery.
But, there is a new feature on the block here, and that feature is LG's QTranslator app. QTranslator uses OCR technology and has the capability of translating words and sentences from 44 difference source languages to over 60 user languages.
LG haven't unveiled any pricing, or availability yet, but it does look like a hot piece of smartphone. LG are definitely in their stride right now, with the Optimus L9's announcement hot on the heels of the in-cell-based Optimus G.
