Tablets are the new hot thing. They're the buzz word, much like netbook was just a few years ago. A new infographic has been released that shows the rise of the tablet to become king of the portable as they are projected to outnumber laptops by 2017. There's many other incredible facts contained in the infographic below:
Even more incredible is the fact that Christmas 2011 managed to double the number of iPads in the United States. Another interesting statistic released in the infographic is the number of adoption. One in five adults in the United States now has an iPad and the ownership is greatest among college graduates or people making of $75,000 a year.
