NTT DoCoMo could ship GALAXY S III with 2GB of RAM
Samsung's GALAXY S III may sport the Exynos 4 Quad processor, but it will be arriving in a dual-core Snapdragon S4 model, too, depending on the carrier and region. What has been consistent between these models, is that they came with 1GB of RAM.
But, we're already seeing a step over to 2GB of RAM, and it now seems that the GALAXY S III could join the 2GB ranks, with a tease of a 2GB variant of the GALAXY S III. Japan's NTT DoCoMo will release their GALAXY S III model as "SC-06D' which should hit the carrier either next month, or July.
The model that arrives will be powered by Qualcomm's dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, and according to some specs document published by NTT DoCoMo, it highlights the features for a number of smartphones coming this summer, with model SC-06D arriving with 32GB of flash storage, and 2GB of RAM. It should be interesting to see how a 2GB model fares against a 1GB model.
