Apple's currently running "Let's talk iPhone" event started off boring, but it's starting to get interesting. We've already seen a fresh new Apple-made app called "Cards". And now... Apple fanboys, wait for it.

Finishing off his presentation, Scott Forstall from Apple announced that they will push out their latest version operating system iOS 5.0 to the world on October 12.

This will bring along some really neat features along with a vastly improved notification system and deep Twitter integration.
