SpeedLink, makers of the well received Medusa series of gaming headsets from years past, has just launched a new model into its lineup, the Xanthos stereo gaming headset.

Compatible with Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, it is a lightweight offering at just 310 grams whilst promising to deliver crystal clear audio along with deep bass and sharp treble.

It sports a flexible headband with padded earcups, a rugged fold-away mic, LED lighting, an in-line remote giving volume adjustment and mic muting and has a 3 meter-long cable.

The Xanthos is now shipping and carries a price tag of 49.99 (around $67 US).
