As learned today through a web leak, Acer has an ultra-thin 13.3-inch laptop in the works that is said to be hitting the market in October. Falling under the Aspire line-up, images of the Acer Aspire 3951 show a very sleek, tidy looking unit that weighs in at around 1.4Kg and is only 13mm thick. It sports all-aluminum casing which houses a 2nd-gen Core/Sandy Bridge platform.
From what we have to go on at this time, it looks to be arriving with a 500GB HDD (or optionally a 160GB SSD), HD webcam, 2-in-1 card reader, 802.11/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 and HDMI ports and a battery lasting over 6 hours.
With pricing said to be ranging between $770 and $960, it could well prove to be quite the popular attraction against the MacBook Air for XMAS buyers.
