HDTV manufacturers are jumping over themselves trying to one-up each other, grabbing customers and giving them 3DTVs, bundling free glasses, cheap Blu-ray players, etc. Sony's new 3D Experience is expected to eclipse the rest by offering more content in the form of streaming on-demand sports highlights and select movie trailers to Bravia LCD TVs and eventually Blu-ray players and home theater systems.
The Experience launches with a meagre 30 clips in the US, Canada, France, Germany and the UK today. This will obviously grow and should include more movies, music, sports and documentary titles. As of yet, there's no word on whether full-length films will be on offer, but it's sure to come.
