Rumors have been circling that the upcoming iPad 3 will include a 3D display. What we do know is that the next-gen iPad will include an upgraded display, but rumors have been firing that the iPad 3 will sport a brighter, higher-resolution Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode AMOLED display screen that is also capable of 3D.
Wow. Most people would dismiss this news, but Netbook News have reported that the iPad 3 might actually include a 3D display. At Display Taiwan display manufacturer CPT had an Apple iPad device (whether it was the third iteration or not) sporting a 3D display.
The iPad 3 is due in Q2 2012 and if CPT stick to their guns, we might actually see a high-resolution, very high-quality, 3D-capable iPad within the next year!
