Apple debuted iOS 5 earlier this month at WWDC and whilst they showed off some pretty cool features, the beta build of the new iOS is being thrashed by thousands worldwide and the hundreds of new features in iOS 5 are finally coming out of the wood work.

Included in the current iOS 5 beta; Apple have added the ability to use FaceTime over 3G - rumors that it might be a beta-only feature where carriers get to decide whether to enable it or not over data concerns. AirPlay Mirroring, allows users to display video from an iPad 2 on an HDTV through AppleTV. iOS 5 also allows users to sync 1080p video to iOS 5-based devices. Also, iOS 5 is capable of transferring audio information such as album, track and artist names over Bluetooth to your car stereo. Cool, huh?
