COMPUTEX Taipei 2011: Getting excited about X79? Well we are and there are a bunch of boards for the upcoming CPU and Chipset being shown at Computex.First up we've got the ASRock X79 Extreme 4. 3x PCI-E x16 slots, 3-Way CrossFire and SLI support and a whole bunch of other yummy features can be seen on the board card.

Next up is the MSI X79A-GD65 with all those MSI features like Military Class III, OC Genie II and more. It's indeed a good looking board and follows the trend we've seen with recent MSI boards.

Finally we've got the ASUS C1X79 EVO. The least exciting board out of the pile when it comes to looks but we're sure that ASUS are saving some ROG sexiness for closer to launch.

MMMmmm, talk about some mouth-watering motherboards. Now all we need is a CPU. No doubt Intel has their eye on remaining on top with the new X79 chipset and 2011 socket CPU. Good times ahead, indeed for people who are ready to splash some cash around.
