Pull out your paintbrush and colour me, Woolies (green and white thank you ma'am). LG are pimping their Optimus Me Android-based smartphones through Woolworths Supermarkets as well as mobile phone dealers.

The Optimus Me runs Froyo and has a 2.8-inch capactive touchscreen and will have an outright selling price of $220. The phone is powered by a 600MHz processor and includes 2GB of storage space and a 1280mAh battery. The phone is obviously being aimed at people who want high-end features but don't want to shell out for a high-end handset.

Not bad at all!
