Rumor has it that Valve is considering bringing its ever-so-popular gaming download portal, Steam, to iOS and Android-based devices. The rumors started when a meeting between Valve lead Gabe Newell and a forum member.

Steam could be on the train toward iOS and Android - full Steam ahead? |

During this chat he confirmed that Steam will get a video recorder very soon, also he said they were looking into the iOS/Android platform for possible expansions with Steam.

Valve has already broken out of the Windows-only environment and have a Mac version that was released last May. Steam for Mac has bought a world of gaming to the Apple OS which before was not considered a serious gaming platform.
