NVIDIA's upcoming budget bonanza card the GeForce GTX 550 Ti has been spotted in several EU retail listings, this allows us a look at pricing and specs. The GTX550 is set to be a dual-slot card based on a 40nm GF116 GPU sporting 192 CUDA cores, 32 texture units with a GPU/shader clock of 900/1800MHz. It should also carry 1GB of GDDR5 memory with a 128-bit bus and an effective speed of 4100MHz, peak power is said to be rated at 110W.
Pricing should be 160 ($220) which should put the card against the overclocked GTX460s and the Radeon HD 6870. It should be noted that it falls just below the GTX560 Ti which has double the CUDA cores and memory interface.
