Apple to start taking pre-orders for Verizon iPhone tomorrow

Lots of iPhone fans in the US waited years to hear that the smartphoen was coming to Verizon's network. Now that the phone is official for Verizon those people have been waiting for the day they could actually order the iPhone for Verizon. Apple has now announced that day is tomorrow.


Starting tomorrow at the Apple Store online and, Verizon customers will be able to pre-order the iPhone. Apple is already warning that with high demand for the smartphone, there will be limited numbers and orders will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

On February 9, all customers will be able to walk into Apple retail stores and reserve an iPhone to pick up on the tenth if they have enough stock. Pricing for the Verizon iPhone is the same as the AT&T version at $199 for 16GB and $299 for 32GB.February 10 is also the day the iPhone will hit all Verizon stores.
