ASRock has now surpassed ECS and MSI in motherboard shipments for 2010. Impressive. ASRock shipped eight million retail motherboards last year and are set to become quite the thread in the high-end market.
ECS and MSI each shipped roughly seven million retail motherboards last year, but with large OEM orders either company would suffer from losing their market position to ASRock. ASRock still has quite the hill to climb to catch up to Gigabyte and Asus with 18 million and 21.6 million boards sold last year respectively.
