Panasonic unveils new ZS10 digital camera with 3D and more
Camera packs 3D and a lot more inside.
Panasonic has added some new cameras to its line of Lumix digital point and shoots today. Among the new cameras is the DMC-ZS10. This camera has a lot of cool features that people that need to shoot still shots and take video with one camera will like. One of the best features is that the camera has the ability to record 1080p video.
The rear LCD for viewing video and photos is a 3-inch unit with a resolution of 460K dots. The LCD is touch sensitive and supports Touch Zoom, Touch Auto focus, Touch Shutter, and Touch Playback. The camera also has GPS integrated to allow for geo tagging and a lot more. Other features include a 24mm Leica lens with 16x optical zoom and 3D photo mode.
The 3D photo mode takes a series of 20 images and then chooses the best two to overlap. The overlapping allows 3D photos to be made that can be viewed on Panasonic digital TVs. The camera has a 14MP image sensor and tons of automatic modes and settings as well as optical image stabilization, and lots more. The camera will ship in March and the pricing will be announced closer to launch.
