I really like the thin size and profile of the Apple MacBook Air, but I am just not interested in learning a new OS after years of using Windows. If you are like me and want a thin profile notebook that runs Windows and is sized similarly to the Air notebook the Dell Adamo is a good option. The machine has had its price cut again.

As of now, you can order the base configuration of the Adamo from Dell for $799. That is $200 less than the price of the machine this time last year. For your money, you get a thin notebook that is about an inch thick and ir weighs right at 4 pounds. The machine runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS and it has 2GB of RAM inside.

That RAM is DDR3 running at 800MHz and the notebook has Intel GS45 graphics. Storage on the notebook is to a 128GB SSD and the screen is 13.4-inches with a resolution of 1366 x 768. The processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 at 1.4GHz and the machine has optional 802.11n WiFi, 3G modem, and Bluetooth.
