Android 2.3 takes a bite into an Apple iPhone 3G

Android 2.3 gets ported onto the Apple iPhone 3G

Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) has been ported by the homebrew community that is the internet onto the Apple iPhone 3G.

With an iPhone 3G you can still dual-boot to keep your iOS happy, as well as enjoy some Android 2.3 lovin'. The sad news is that the iPhone has gotten Android 2.3 before most Android users - but, this is because of the homebrew community. If only corporations worked this fast to get their new products into the hands of their paying customers.
