More leaks are coming out about Apple's iPad 2 with one of them saying the next-gen iPad will have a smaller, slimmer, flatter case, all while including rear-facing, improved speakers.
According to a Japanese blog, an anonymous Chinese source has revealed that the new case shaves 3mm from the length and width which results in a slightly smaller bezel. The source says the 9.7" LCD display will remain.
The back is meant to be flatter (like the current iPhone 4) which would make it easier to use when placed on a table or flat surface. The report also says the iPad will include a front-facing FaceTime camera, as well as a rear-facing camera that is "the same quality as iPhone 4" and capable of shooting video.
Please Apple, please let this happen! Please give us a proper USB port too.
