Biostar unveils TP67XE mainboard for LGA1155

Biostar is a name that lots of enthusiasts out there will know. The company has unveiled the latest mainboard in its line up and this board is called the TP67XE. It supports Intel LGA1155 socket processors like Sandy Bridge parts and uses the Intel P67 chipset. The mainboard is packed with lots of other features as well.

Other features of the mainboard include USB 3.0, SATA 3, Bio-Remote 2, and THX Theater sound. The board also uses Charge Booster tech for charging up your Apple hardware like the iPad or iPhone. The board also uses a new heat sink design and has a 10-phase CPU power supply along with a pair of 8-pin aux power connectors for the CPU to allow for more power and extreme overclocking.

The board has onboard USB 3.0 and 6Gbps SATA ports and support up to 16GB of dual-channel DDR3 RAM. The RAM bas a 1-phase memory power supply to allow for better RAM overclocking. PCIe slots on the board include a pair of x16 2.0 slots and the board will support AMD video cards in Crossfire. The board uses 100% solid-state capacitors and the Charge Booster tech I mentioned will charge your Apple gadgets 42% faster. You can also use your smartphone as a remote for your computer via WiFi.
