Google quietly releases Chrome 8

Google's Chrome browser has been a hit for many users with its clean look and interface. Google has released the 8th version of the browser, although with admittedly little fanfare.

Sure, the only major addition besides the usual tweaks and bug fixes is the addition of a built in PDF reader that means you don't need a 3rd party program like Adobe Reader to browse PDFs. Chrome's updates have gotten less and less excitement from Google's team, from full main page blog posts to now just a two sentence blurb in the Google Chrome Releases blog. I guess they figure if you want to use Chrome, you're doing it already.
