It's the time of the year for the ARIA awards, this year is a little different with Apple and ARIA are putting on a bunch of concerts in the Botanic Gardens in Sydney - the bonus? They're streaming these shows live via a free app on the App Store.

Thus far, John Butler and Washington have already played with Guy Sebastian playing tonight, Sia tomorrow night and Angus & Julia Stone playing on Friday night. Once the stream is finished, the concert is available for another week, free. The app also has links to artist profiles and links to buy their music via iTunes.

Supposedly, streaming video is great with Gizmodo saying they watched the John Butler concert on the train, streaming over NextG and the video only dropped out a few times, but the audio stayed clear for pretty much the whole time.
