Welcome to TweakTown's newest daily addition, the Mobile App of the Day. Our Mobile App of the Day today is Windows Live Messenger for iPhone.

The Windows Live Messenger for iPhone app has been out since June, but had not been updated since its initial release. Now, version 1.1 has been made available and a few useful new features have been added to enrich the experience.

Facebook integration has been added to the app, allowing you to chat with friends, view updates, and control who sees your updates through the Windows Live Service account page. A friends list filter has been added so you can view all of your friends or sort them by group. Windows Live Messenger for iPhone also now supports iOS4's fast switching feature, and has added support for 31 additional languages including Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Turkish.
