For me the Ricoh brand is more associated with printers and copiers than digital cameras. In Japan, the company does sell some digital cameras and the company has unveiled a new digital camera called the CX4. The new camera is set to ship on September 3 at an undisclosed price.

The camera has an optical zoom lens with 10.7x optical zoom that is equivalent to a 28-300mm focal range. The camera has a shutter that is designed to improve the image quality in low light photography. The camera also has an interesting subject tracking focus feature that tracks a subject and keeps the m in focus automatically.

The resolution of the camera is 10MP and the lens used is wide angle. Other features include a 3-inch rear LCD, 11 different scene modes for optimizing images, and the ability to shoot at five frames per second continuously. The camera can also record video at 720p resolution.
