Flash ported from Android to iPad

iPad gets Flash with hack

One of the big shortcomings of the iPhone and iPad in many users opinions is the fact that the devices lack support for Flash. Steve Jobs is not likely to ever allow Flash on Apple devices so users are left with support for the most widely used video format online.

The dude who designed the Sprint untethered jailbreak tool has developed a way to port Flash from Android to the iPad. The catch is that the iPad has to be jailbroken.

The app used to enable Flash is called Frash. The app only works on the iPad now, but the developer says he is working on support for the 3GS and iOS4.
