Cisco is mostly know for all the networking gear that it offers in the enterprise and other markets. It also has some interesting enterprise gear for video conferences. On the consumer front, the company owns the Flip camcorder line.
The Flip cameras are small and cheap camcorders designed to upload video to YouTube and other sharing sites. Cisco's Martin De Beer has talked to Computerworld and said that a Flip camcorder with WiFi built-in is in the works.
De Beer wasn't specific about a launch date or any details on the camera, but he said he expects the device in time for Christmas. Cisco is also working FaceTime support into many of its products.
