Wednesday Evening Roundup for April 3, 2002

Wednesday Evening Roundup news post from TweakTown's online news computing and technology content pages for April 3, 2002

By Cameron Wilmot on Apr 3, 2002 10:25 am CST - 1 min, 4 secs reading time

It has been yet another busy day on the review and article front. Under my last news roundup I posted I commented on the amount of new sites showing up and which ones would last and which ones wouldn't - This generated an email response from a concerned webmaster of a smaller website. The comment was not designed to demean smaller sites, but a rhetorical question querying if these new sites are capable of making a decent presence for themselves in an already crowed hardware website scene. Now I've cleared that up, let's get on with the news!

- Abit SD7-533 (SIS645) motherboard review @ Overclockers New Zealand
- Shuttle AV45GTR (VIA P4X266A) motherboard review @ Tweakers Australia
- MSI SiS 645 Ultra @ Hexus
- Intel Pentium 4 "Northwood" 2.4GHz review @ 3D-Unlimited
- Another Intel Pentium 4 "Northwood" 2.4GHz review @ Active Hardware
- AMD XP 2000+, GeForce4 Ti4400 giveway @ ResellerRatings
- SPAM, SPAM, SPAM! article @ Futurelooks
- Directron Scorpio TA-10BD case review @ Mod The Box
- Nexlands ISB Soho Personal Router/Firewall review @ Designtechnica
- Xoxide Ultra Bright Cathode review @ MachinaX

Unless there is a sudden plague which starts affecting tech sites, we'll have more news for you later, take care!
