NVIDIA is always hard at work on drivers to make their video cards more stable and perform better. A bad driver can make a great GPU look like trash in the eyes of the gamer.

NVIDIA has announced its new 256 Family drivers are now available. The new version is 257.15 beta and it is available for GeForce and ION GPUs. The WHQL certified version of the drivers are planned for launch in early June.

The new driver is also available for notebooks with Optimus tech. Among the new features are support for 3D Blu-ray, new visual quality modes, multiple GPU setup controls are new, CUDA 3.1 is supported along with lots of other features.
