With little notice Apple has just rolled out a MacBook refresh that is now available for purchase at the Apple Store in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany and a few others, with a global launch to take place very soon now.
The new MacBook has a faster 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo in it along with NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics and a reported 10 hours of battery life, versus a maximum of 7 hours on its predecessor.
The CPU and GPU is actually the same as what Apple is using in its entry level 13-inch MacBook Pros, but the unit is selling for a good bit less at just $999 versus $1,199 for the Pro.
