Well here are some more interesting bits for you today on the eve of CEBiT 2002 at Hannover in Germany.

Both DFI Corporation and VIA Technologies have sent out Press Releases on the eve of CEBiT 2002.
DFI's press release is on it's new range of SiS P4 Series motherboards and the introduction of 'BitGuard'.
BitGuard is designed to keep a watch over your entire system and take out any problems before they develop.
VIA's press release is on it's new Highly Integrated P4MA P4 motherboard.
VIA ProSavageDDR(tm) chipset based P4MA mainboard with integrated S3 ProSavage8(tm) AGP graphics, DDR266 SDRAM controller, onboard LAN and AC'97 audio, provides unprecedented performance, flexibility and, cost effectiveness.
Go and check them both out if your interested.

Over at Overclockers Australia, Agg has received some info from a contact in Yen Sun Technology, better known as Y.S. Tech on their new fan technology.
Basically, what they've done is made a fan that is driven, not by a central motor as we're used to, but by an electric motor around the OUTSIDE of the fan.. using the tips of the fan blades. This of course means the normal "dead spot" in the middle of the fan and hence in the middle of the heatsink, where it needs airflow the most, is eliminated.
Take a look at the details here.
