CTIA has been going on in Las Vegas for a while, which means lots of new cell phones and other gear have been turning up. Samsung has unveiled a slick new device at the show called the Galaxy S GT-I9000. The handset will launch in America and other countries soon.
The device has a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen with less reflection and fast touch response. The handset runs the Android operating system and has a wealth of features and access to the Android Market.
The device has key features like daily briefing that offers access to weather, news, stocks, and schedule. A home cradle lets the handset be used like a digital photo frame, and an app to view and edit Office 2007 documents is built-in. Pricing and carrier information on the device is unannounced at this time.
