Thanks to a Bahrain based retailer known as Advanti sharing out new info on their facebook page, today we get a clearer picture on the pricing for AMD's soon to be released 6 core desktop processors.
The retailer has mentioned pricing on the top-end Black Edition "1090T" model which is clocked at 3.2GHz, and also the 1055T which carries a 2.8GHz clockspeed. These chips are priced at $295 and $199 USD respectively.
The information provided also states the TDP on these chips to be the same as the current quad core Phenom II X4 955 and 965 C3 chips at 125W, which is a good effort for power optimization given the use of six cores in these processors at the same clock speeds. Hopefully they clock up under LN2 like the Phenom II X4s.
