Powerline networking gear has been around for a long time. A powerline adapter is a good way to get connectivity to a computer or other device when a wireless network won't do the trick for one reason or another.

TRENDnet has unveiled a couple new powerline networking adapters including the TPL-304E and the TPL-304E2K. The 304E is a single powerline adapter capable of 200Mbps data speeds and featuring a built-in plug.

That means when you plug the adapter into your AC outlet, you can still plug other devices into the AC outlet built into the adapter. The 304E2K kit is a pair of the same adapters. The single adapter will sell for $79 and the kit with a pair of adapters is $149.
