HP whips out a slew of new notebooks

HP offers lots of new business notebooks.

HP has pulled the wraps off several new notebooks today. Among the new machines are the EliteBook 2740p, EliteBook 2540p, and a new s-series in the HP ProBook family. The 2740p is a convertible tablet PC with a 12.1-inch screen weighing 3.8 pounds. Numerous battery and screen options are available for the notebook.


The EliteBook 2540p is the lightest machine in the EliteBook line with a 12.1-inch screen and several Intel Core processor options. The ProBook line gets new 14-inch 4420s, 13.3-inch 4320s, 15.6-inch 4520s, and 17.3-inch 4720s notebooks.

The ProBook S-series starts at $719 and will have processors ranging from Core i3, i5, and i7 lines. The EliteBook 2540p starts at $1099, the 2740p starts at $1599, and all will ship in the US next month.
