There are different types of notebooks for different types of users. Some want small and portable machines to carry with them on the go. Other users want a large notebook with a big screen for use in the home or office along the lines of the new MSI CR720 that debuted today.


The notebook is aimed at the media enthusiast and has a sound system with two speakers and a subwoofer. The machine has a 17.3-inch LED backlit LCD with a resolution of 1600 x 900. MSI uses Windows 7 Home Premium and the notebook will use an unspecified Intel Core processor that is new for 2010.

Other features include Intel GMA HD integrated graphics, Intel HM55 chipset, up to 500GB of storage, and up to 4GB of RAM. The notebook has 802.11b/g/ draft N WiFi and Bluetooth along with a 1.3MP webcam. Pricing and availability are unknown at this time.
