These speakers cost a fortune

Harman Kardon makes all sorts of audio gear from headphones to speakers for the PC. The company owns the JBL brand as well. Lots of tech fans want gear for their computer that performs well, but looks good too and Harman Kardon has a new set of speakers that will fit the bill called the GLA-55.

The speakers are a high-end two-piece set lacking subwoofer. The 2.0 system promises good sound quality, and they had better sound good considering the price. Harman Kardon is asking $999 for the pair. I think someone forgot we are still in a recession.

The speakers have Atlas woofers and CMMD tweeters built into the sexy glass case. If you are the type who has some money lying around and likes flashy, crystal looking stuff these may well be your speakers. The GLA-55 speakers are available now on Amazon and at other retailers.
