Seems one of Intel's early six-core Xeon samples has gotten into the wrong hands, finding its way onto eBay where any Joe Blow can get a hold of it, providing he/she is happy to fork out $1,200 USD for the thing, that is!

The validity of the of the listing isn't confirmed, but the Taiwanese eBay user claims he has a 2.4GHz Xeon Westmere Gulftown processor that is confirmed to be working perfectly. And by looking at the pics, it's quite likely a legit listing.
