We've been following stories surrounding rumours that Foxconn, could be withdrawing from the enthusiast motherboard market.
According to this report from Fudzilla, new indications have emerged, suggesting that ASUS is involved in convincing Foxconn to play its hand sooner, rather than later.
The OEM arena is Foxconn's forte and it is claimed that ASUS is looking to divert some of its own OEM business. This could be, it is believed, sufficient leverage to convince Foxconn to trade with ASUS and give up its own aspirations to dominate the enthusiast market, whilst strengthening its OEM business further.
