Reminiscing of a stealth bomber aircraft, SilverStone has completed the final design of its new Raven RV01 full-tower PC chassis and VR-Zone managed to take some photos and get a brief look at this intriguing new case.

The first and foremost thing you'll notice about this case is its orientation for motherboard placement. Where the usual ATX design has the motherboard in such a position that the rear I/O faces the back, this case has the board turned 90 degrees so that the rear I/O faces straight up.

Silverstone's reasoning for going against the trend is that it supposedly allows for the rising hot air to escape more effectively out the top as opposed to being forced sideways out the rear.


An interesting yet potentially quite messy approach. Silverstone says the case will become available around Christmas time with an MSRP of $199 USD.
