Before it's even had the wraps fully removed from it and makes its way to the worlds best and most reknowned overclockers out there, Nehalem already storms to the top of the 3DMark ladder with ASUS dishing up a new world record.
Although they weren't allowed to reveal too much information, ASUS has designed a simple banner that indicates a score of 31,389 points in 3DMark Vantage, exactly 860 points higher than the current world record.
We can see from the motherboard in the banner that it is their P5Q Premium, not an X58 board. But Nordic Hardware rest themselves assured that this result was in fact obtained with Core i7 using very little effort.
