A 55nm GPU, known now as the GT206, will take over from NVIDIA's current GTX 260 flavour, according to this report from Expreview.
The source of this information is none other than NVIDIA AIB, ELSA, who revealed these titbits during a channel meeting, in the form of an NVIDIA roadmap.
The GT206, is expected to launch before the close of the year, preceding a supposed 45nm (or 40nm) flagship successor to NVIDIA's GTX 280, named the GT212.
NVIDIA's GeForce 9800GTX+ will not be left out in the cold either, with it too being refreshed again during Q4.
The Santa Clara, CA based company is clearly at work to counteract against its reinvigorated competitor, AMD, and the next graphics year promises to be, anything but dull.
