Universal Home Entertainment in the U.S. have announced the Blu-ray release of Martin Scorcese's 1995 classic Casino. The release will feature 1080p VC-1 encoded video and DTS HD Master audio. The release should feature all the supplements from previous DVD and HD-DVD releases, in addition to a brand new U-Control, picture in picture experience.

The title will be released in the US on October 14th (which is also Matrix day). No date has yet been announced for the Australian market.
