So, are you one of those people who still love Walt Disney's classic Mickey Mouse? Thankfully, if you are, you'll be overjoyed to discovered that A-DATA has a licensing agreement with Disney that allows them to produce all sorts of weird and whacky Disney based USB memory products.

The newest product from the Taiwanese memory maker A-DATA that will see its debut at Computex next week is the oddly named "Theme T703" pen drive - and Mickey Mouse fans will love it to bits!

Fudzilla managed to meet up with Albatron here in Taiwan and got a look at a couple new PCI graphics cards (yes - you read correctly, not PCI Express x16).

There are some companies out there who are making Radeon HD 3850 PCI cards but not so many that are producing GeForce based PCI products. Albatron intends to announce 8600GT, 8500GT and 8400GS PCI cards at Computex next week and they will all get HDMI output.

As far as specifications go, we can tell you that models we saw on display in Taipei this afternoon were using a new Intel CPU, 1GB DDR2-533 memory, 160GB SATA hard disk drive, Gigabit Ethernet, DVD combo drive and 65-watt power adapter.

Hot off the press, Digitimes is reporting that ABIT may begin phasing out its motherboard business after evaluating the success of its forthcoming Intel 4 series lineup of motherboard products. ABIT shipped three million motherboards in 2007 and while that may sound like a large number, it's a mere fraction of what the likes of ASUS and GIGABYTE ship. It had a goal of shipping six million motherboards this year but has since reduced its forecast.

While the report does mention that ABIT is maintaining it does not know anything about the speculation and will continue to develop motherboard products, it wouldn't be a surprise. ABIT's current batch of new motherboards haven't been that exciting and we even saw a motherboard released recently which didn't even include solid capacitors. ABIT used to be the one setting the trends in motherboard technology but now it is clear they are falling behind the eight ball.

VIA has today unveiled its OpenBook reference design and it is designed to compete in the subnotebook market space.

VIA's OpenBook form factor will be powerful enough to run Windows Vista and include a host of connectivity options including WiMAX, HSDPA and EV-DA, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA out, a 4-in-1 card reader and front and back 2 megapixel webcams.

Foxconn has today taken the covers off its newest motherboard and it comes under their new Green Series of products.

It will be a rather affordable motherboard based on Intel's G31 Express chipset with onboard GMA 3100 graphics and support for the latest Core2 Quad and Core2 Duo processors up to 95W power rating and FSB rating of 1333MHz.

Among the many products MSI showed at its ECOlution press conference in Taipei today was its upcoming GeForce N9600GT Diamond graphics card.

It's a rather special product in that MSI said that it has crammed all its current and future VGA technologies onto this one product. It will get 2GB of GDDR3 memory as well HDMI, DisplayPort, dual DVI and optical audio output. Is that enough for you people?

You've seen MSI's WIND notebooks pictures online before now but not in this sort of detail.

We over heard someone from MSI being asked when the WIND notebook will begin selling. Someone suggested one month but the MSI representative said that would not be quite enough time. So, I guess it is still going to be a month or so until you'll be able to buy one. MSI did give away two of these small new notebooks to a couple local Taiwanese press members and took their details for delivery later, so they couldn't be too far off.

MSI held its ECOlution press conference in Taipei this afternoon and it was quite an upbeat event with fancy green dancers, attended by a sizeable audience of local Taiwanese press.

It seems a tad strange for MSI to hold a press event of this size just one week before the Computex trade show begins in Taipei but there was plenty for us to see early before the show begins.

Arctic Cooling has just taken the covers off its newest CPU cooler called the Freezer Xtreme.

It is a monster of a cooler with a total of eight heatpipes, 102 fins and it comes with a quiet PWM 12cm fan, which will adjust power between 800 and 1500 RPM according to processor temperature.

Arctic include brackets for both Intel and AMD processors including socket 775, 939, AM2 and AM2+ and claims that this cooler can handle up to 160 watts which is a staggeringly large amount of cooling capability.
