RIM's new tablet possibly set for unveiling next week
The Blackberry tablet that has been the source of rumors and questions with no real substance could finally be officially seeing the light of day soon. According to the Wall Street Journal, RIM could be unveiling the long awaited device at their Developer Conference next week in San Francisco.

According to the source, the "BlackPad" will run on a QNX operating system with a Marvell powered chip. It will have WiFi connection only with tethering possible through a regular BlackBerry device, which means the tablet will not be tied to a carrier or a service contract. No prices have been thrown around yet, but with no possibility of a discount on contract you can expect to shell out a chunk of change for your BlackBerry's new best friend.
