iPhone 4 announced today, launch coming June 24th
Here it comes, Apple fans: the iPhone 4. After a whole lot of leaks, photos, and drips of information from various sources, Apple made the official announcement today of the iPhone 4 breaking out on the smartphone world.

Pre-orders start in a week for 5 countries; the US, France, Germany, Japan, and the UK, and the 16GB will cost $199 while the 32GB version will set you back $299 with a new AT&T contract. AT&T is even extending upgrade timing, so if you are within 6 months of your current contract being up you can get the iPhone 4 at these prices while renewing your contract. 18 more countries will see a July launch.
