Introduction

Secretlab is no stranger to the gaming chair market, with a range of kick ass gaming chairs with the THRONE, OMEGA, and TITAN gaming chairs but they're all leather. There are plenty of gamers who don't like leather and that is why we're here today: Secretlab has unveiled its brand new SoftWeave series, a new entry into the world of gaming chairs with Secretlab designing their own custom and intricately-made fabric upholstery.

SoftWeave ushers in an era for Secretlab as it's their first-ever non-leather gaming chair and they are standing proud, and so they should be. I've been sitting on the new Secretlab TITAN SoftWeave and its one of the most comfortable gaming chairs yet, especially in a world of quality gaming chairs that I feel can't get any better... Secretlab somehow raises the bar.

Where and how does Secretlab make the magic for SoftWeave? Well, the company explains that they were inspired by the use of fabrics in the streetwear and tech industries, markets that companies are using woven fabrics in for their "performance-enhacing and breathable" natures. I can't attest to that just yet because I was de-ranked so hard in Overwatch playing in the Secretlab TITAN SoftWeave gaming chair... or maybe my team isn't backing me up as Mercy. You choose. HAHA.

Detailed Look

OH GOSH IT'S BEAUTIFUL

I've probably said this before about a Secretlab gaming chair, but man does the new TITAN SoftWeave look gorgeous. I'm seriously digging the silver/black theme, and that stitching... ugh, my body can only handle so much you guys.

See what I mean? It just looks SO GOOD in person. And I really love those two Ts that are different to the I, A, and N. I don't know why... but I'm a fan of two Ts being next to each other.

Even the small touches on the TITAN SoftWeave are respected. I love the TITAN branding on the chair, even though I might be sitting on it, it's a nice touch.

The same arm rests are used on the TITAN SoftWeave as the normal TITAN.

See what I mean about the SoftWeave patterning? It looks great.

What Is SoftWeave?

Secretlab has spent countless hours creating SoftWeave, with the company taking the best 350gsm short-yarn and then weaving it together and finishing it with a grinding process in order to make SoftWeave that "dreamily fluffy and comfortable against your skin" and Secretlab couldn't be more right.

The company is kicking off the new SoftWeave chairs with TITAN, weaving the fabric into the new TITAN SoftWeave for the best seating experience possible. I'm typing this article from the Secretlab TITAN SoftWeave and its utterly amazing to sit on. If you don't like leather, you know what to buy next.

Better yet, the new SoftWeave Series is also pet friendly, so those with cats and dogs (or both!) can stay happy as there isn't much maintenance with this chair. Leather is better if you're someone who might spill your drinks on the chair, so be careful there.

Sercretlab says that SoftWeave has "good dimensional stability, resulting in high tensile strength and durability" and in my short time with it so far (just 3-4 days), it has been nothing but one of the most premium gaming chairs I've ever used. The company adds that the fabric upholstery is "flexible enough to conform to the shape of your back, yet durable enough to support it adequately without losing its form even after prolonged used after extended periods of time".
