Quake III Arena
Quake III Arena is a real-world OpenGL benchmark that we have been using here at TweakTown for quite a while now because it has proven itself to be one of the best gaming benchmarks around to compare a wide range of different products. Quake III is getting very old, but is still one of the best ways of testing video and PC systems for any instabilities and best performance.
- 640 X 480

- 1280 X 1024

The frames we see in Quake 3 are unreal and there really is no benefit having a system like this if all you want to do is simple play Quake 3.
At 1280 X 1024 we see our overclocked Athlon 64 scoring just over an average of 300 FPS, more then enough for any Quake 3 player by a long way.
